Most of the club follows a personal gaming code that makes it an enjoyable experience for all.
To ensure that we wanted to make it clear to all, what we feel is the Club's Gaming code.
These guidelines are taken from an article from the Bell of Lost Souls site.

Crossing the Line
Up until this point we have been mostly unconcerned with in forum banter (other than vulgarity).
Some has been seen as uncalled for, or even distasteful to some members. But there had been no complaints to site admins so it was allowed to continue. Until Now.

From this point forward, any post that contains personal assaults on any club member or the club itself will be edited for content or deleted entirely. A warning will also be issued to the creator of the post. NO ONE IS EXEMPT.

Events gain a voice
We have noticed that outside of In-site notation & word of mouth, upcoming club & store events do not get as much promotion as they could.

In order to remedy this, Myself & the O-Zone Admins have created a new position to aid in improving player awareness of O-Zone related events. Both in-club & outside gamers.
This person will also be available to players for the purpose of getting the events you want, approved by the Admins & promoted by The O-Zone gaming club.

It has been noticed that O-zone event and to a lesser degree regular games suffer from a lack of official coverage for rules questions.

Because of this the High Lords have appointed 3 club members to act as official Abitors in these matters.
These individuals were not appointed based on knowledge of the different rule systems, but instead on a genuine willingness to find the true information and an overall perspective the High Lords felt was most in-line with goals of the club.

Announcement: The O-Zone Birthday
I was one year ago that that the O-Zone formed. May 9th, the Lucky 13's kicked off and a month later, the forum was created. We have decided to celebrate the O-Zone's birthday throughout the month of May. Starting May 1, tickets will be on sale for the O-Zone's very first 50/50 raffle. Tickets will continue to be sold throughout the month of May until the drawing on May 27th. Comix Zone has offered to match up to $150 in Store Credit. The overall prize will also be in Store Credit. The Inquisition has come to the O-Zone
With things begining to pick up & as we prepare for the year ahead, The O-Zone has added a new position.
The Inquisitors have a duel roll. They act as both website Moderators and help with the day to day operations of the club as a whole.

The High Lords still make the decisions about the club, but we have found input from the Inquisitors to be quite helpful.

Therefore, I hereby announce that, Headless Calgar (Tom "Beard") & Slaanesh (Miller) have been appointed as our 1st Inquisitors.

More Rules and Regulations
First and foremost, it has been brought to our attention that alcohol is being brought into Comix Zone. This stops NOW. I won't ask questions. All I will say is this. If you are found with alcohol on the premises, you will be removed from the store and the authorities will be called. This will not be tolerated. Comix Zone is nice enough to give us space to play. Let's show them some appreciation.

Secondly, Language language language. Remember...Comix Zone is a STORE. Not your bedroom, or your basement, or your garage. Save the foul language for places like that. No one wants to hear...

Gaming Etiquette - Part 2 PLEASE READ!!!
It has come to our attention that there are people playing card games on Thursdays. Please remember...Thursdays are specifically 40k nights. That does not mean that we discourage the card game players...just that 40k players have priority. Comix Zone has scheduled nights due to the limited space. Mondays are LOTR, Tuesdays are Open Gaming nights, Wednesdays are Warmachine, Thursdays are 40k, and Fridays are Warhammer Fantasy.

People playing the preferred game of the night have first priority to tables. Therefore, people may be asked to move.

A disclaimer and announcement of sorts.
As you are all aware, our club has grown rather large in a very short time. We appreciate all of you coming out and helping with the events and we hope to continue seeing many of you through the fall. We realize that alot of you have jobs and school to go back to, so your time will be limited. That being said, we are expanding our activities to include Walt's Hobby Shop. For those of you unaware, Walt's is a store for the true Hobby enthusiast. Monday night will be the official gaming night at Walt's. Monday night will still be Lord of the Rings night at Comix Zone.

Gaming Etiquette - PLEASE READ
A few things have come to our attention and they must be addressed.

First and foremost -

Remember that Comix Zone is a STORE. It is not your living room, your jungle gym, or your playground. Please keep this in mind. There is to be no running or rough housing. This will be enforced.

Secondly -

As most of you have noticed, there is still limited table space. We are asking everyone to limit their games on Tuesdays and Thursdays so that other gamers may have a chance to play. Please have consideration for other club members by not playing multiple games...

Clean Up After Your Done
When you are done with your Game do not just leave a table set up.
Check if anyone needs it, IF NOT then put away the Terrain.
Do Not assume that someone will just play on it.

ALSO the back & side tables are NOT to have terrain left on them.
The only exception are the 2 white boxes that hold trees.

You can ask players gaming to put it on the shelf for you just as easily as you ask to have it taken down when someone is in the way.
