Hey if you ever bring them you silly Marine.

After first glance the codex seems really strong... The ability to bring dreads as troop choices for 125pts a pop is pretty scary but to be honest I have already seen a few flaws in that army that can easily be exploited. I think GW did a good job balancing out that army with point costs. Mephiston is a BEAST but at 250pts I wouldn't bring him. The cheapest special character I believe is Tycho for 175pts. He is a decent character but I would bring something a lot nastier from that codex, for that amount of points. With that being said I look forward to all the band wagon players that will be fielding this army. My Emperor's Children need new marine chapters to crush.

But honestly yes it seems a little much to field dreads as troops but in order to do that you HAVE to take 5 Death Company per and thats 70pts BEFORE war gear. I couldn't wait until monday so I actually called mike yesterday to ask about the Sanguinary Guard If you can weather the initial shock of their assault then it shouldn't be too hard to counter. 'Nids can handle them easy. IG needs to watch it though.

I will say that it is 100 points for 5 DC before upgrades. The Dreads are not the most scary thing. It is thinking that someone is going to spend points for an Assault squad of Death Company x3 with the special character so that is the first 1000 points of the army that is reallllllllly hard to deal with. In small point total games (under 1500) I see them not being as many but it is interesting.

Land Raiders that Deep Strike as dedicated transports.

So...I take 6 tactical squads...5 guys in each...and give each of them a land raider.

That deep strikes.

100 for 5, oh. I thought Mike said it was 30 for the first 3 then 20 for each after that. My bad. When I was in Pa someone was saying that it's really easy to bring the cheese out of this new codex but luckily I'm not swift enough to do that. You could deep strike 5 land raiders and win but whats the fun in that? I'd rather take Dante, a bunch of Sanguinary guard and death company and have some fun. Remember fun? lol. Go out in style! Who wants to tally all my deep strike mishaps my 1st game?

This madness is so madinning that it makes the insane and mad even more insane and mad, yet at the same time it makes them BUM BUM BUM......SANE!!!

I'm playing Blood Angels purely from an artists point of view. I could lose every game (though I'd rather not) as long as I get to field these gorgeous models. As I speak I have Dante mostly done, just have to do the Jump Pack and I can tell this is gonna be a cool looking army that will put my Eldar to shame.

What about curling?

Well that goes without saying. Everyone knows curling is one of the most extreme sports ever created. Seriously though, for as rowdy as Scotland appears to be they make some of the lamest games (golf and curling) though I guess they are easy to play when drunk.

Funny thing is Golf is actually an Anagram G.O.L.F. It originally stood for "Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden"
