The Next Tounament at Comix Zone
Greetings,
Does anyone know when the next tournament at Comix Zone is? I asked Mike but he said that he was not the person who actually handled that. Does anyone here know? I thought that there would probably be one next month, since there was one this month and Mike said that there would be a lot more coming up soon. Thanks to anyone who can answer this question.

Re: The Next Tounament at Comix Zone
It seems to be 1 every other month. I don't know if the War of the Ring Tournament will affect it. It's 'Ard Boyz though so it's an official GW tourney. So if Mike isn't going to run one himself I'd say not until late Feb or March.

Yes MARCH tournament is going to be an de-escalation tournament.
1st round - 2000 points
2nd round - 1850 points
3rd round - 1750 points
You must have all three list made before first game starts.
March 13, 2010
See Mike for sign ups or email me and I will put you on the list.
This is a Comix Zone Event.
11am Start Time.
Thanks

Greetings,
Does anyone know the exact organization of this tournament? As in: how many battle points, how many composition points, how many painting points, how many pub quiz points, how many sportsmanship points. Also, how many points for winning/losing/getting a draw. Also, how are all of these points going to be determined? Will there be charts that people will know about ahead of time? Will it be a Ard Boyz event? What prizes and how much money worth will there be in prizes if there are any? How many people will be able to be in this tourney?
Thank you to anyone who can provide a solid formula for all of my questions.

Whoa, take a breather. Thats a lot of questions lol. If this is a Mike tourney, which I believe it is, then mike's the man to ask. It's not an 'Ard Boyz and Mike usually doesn't do points for painting or sportsmanship. There may be a quiz, may not be a quiz. Mike wasn't there tonight so we couldn't ask him. He was telling me about it before and I'm assuming we just have to build a 2,000 build using the standard force organization chart then strip it every round whilst staying within the force organization chart. He said we'd need a list for each round. Though that may all have changed. He did a similar thing for Lord of the Rings but in reverse where we had to build 500 round 1, 750 round 2, and 1000 round 3. So all in all, you'd need to ask Mike. I just like talking.

Re: The Next Tounament at Comix Zone
Ok. Brian is right with everything but the points. Rd 1 - 2000pts. Rd 2 - 1750pts and Rd 3 - 1500pts. All lists have to be to me before Rd 1 starts and all lower lists are made from the original 2000pt list. Meaning you may NOT add anything that was not originally in your 2000pt list (ie: You can not add a chaplain in your 1750pt list if he was not in your 2000pt list.) Also, whatever was taken out of your original 2000pt list can NOT find it's way into later round lists (ie: If you take a Predator out of your 2000pt list, for Rd 2, the 1750pt list, it can NOT return in your 1500pt list for Rd 3.) This is NOT an 'Ard Boyz Tournament. The 'Ard Boyz tournament for 40K is May 15th. Any other questions please feel free to ask. Thanks!!!

I have an answer for that question. Only if you would you like to start the LOTR 'Ard Boyz 2 loses down.
