Greetings,

I just wanted to post a confirmation about the tournament. I am definitely planning on coming to it. If anyone wants to be there an hour or so early, I most likely will. I like to to tourneys really early to chat with people about Warhammer stuff. Yea, so I am like Brian in that regard, I like to talk :-).

Mike, do I need to call you on the store phone and do any registration/payment stuff? I was wondering if I could pay via credit card over the phone. I do not think I have any cash and I could only pay in (I believe I have no quarters) nickels, dimes and pennies. Yea.......so that would be silly. Would a credit card be okay?

Okay guys I cannot wait for this tourney. Thank you again to everyone for running it and for running this site.

Mike, are scratch built vehicles allowed at Comix Zone tourneys? I made nine light panzers, for one of my armies. They look pretty good: they have treads and all of that. I was planning on using them, but I wanted to check with you first (as they will be a sizable portion of my army).

What if the model doesn't exist yet? Things like Tervigons, Mycetic Spores, Fenrisian Wolves...etc etc etc...Can those be scratch built?

Let me elaborate on this. "Scratch built" models that consist of AT LEAST 75-85% Games Workshop parts are permissible for tournaments. Units, tanks, etc. that have entries in their codicies but DO NOT have models yet available (ie: Mycetic Spores) will be allowed in tournaments as fully, 100% "scratch built". For further elaboration, if you go and buy a model of an Abrams tanks and throw some side sponsons of a Baneblade on it and plan on using it in a tournament, it won't happen. The model of the Baneblade already exists and the forementioned tank consists of less than 10% GW parts. Another example, If you extend the barrel of a Leman Russ with some copper piping and put it on the tank you have a Vanquisher. This tank would be allowed in tournament play because the Leman Russ model already exists and this tank is made up of at least 75-85% GW parts. Hope this helps.
