Not quite that big. (More like Continents) You use them AS planets, because you have little other choice. (Maiden worlds are few & far between)
Before you mention the Exodites they an off-shoot society with a different culture.
"True" Eldar view them the same way we do at someone who tells us they are joining the Peace Corps. --- "Good for You! You have fun with that." ----
Besides Craftworld aren't "ships" any more. They are more like Space stations that Sail through space on solar winds at a snails pace.
Tread-Marked Avatar wrote:...And as far as walkers being revered or what ever, thats just a silly Marine fascination. We don't worship our walkers...
You most certainly do!
Each Wraithlord a.k.a. Dreadnaught is and I Quote; "...are extremely precious to their craftworlds...
...Summoned into being by the necromantic processes of the Spiritseers, only a true hero of the Eldar race has spirit enough to animate the gigantic wraithbone shell of a Wraithlord."

Tut tut Wraithlords aren't walkers. They're alive, if only abstractly. And yes so are dreads but they are still walkers while lords are monstrous creatures.

I never said it was a "Walker" I said, "Dreadnought." There is a difference.
You are right that it is a Monstrous Creature, but this was not always the case.
It has been an ongoing evolution that I'm sure we still haven't seen the End result.
1st Ed. (Rogue Trader) - Originally referred to as "Deadnought Suits" The ultimate personal armor. Eldar Pilot control systems were decribed as a "Mind Impulse system"
During this era everyone "built" their Dreads from the ground up on the same chart.
2nd Ed. (Vehicle Manual) - The term "Deadnought" changed from a type of armour to a size class.
Each race got Base pattern Dreadnoughts at a set cost + upgrades
"Wraithguard are cybernetic warriors controlled by spirits of dead Eldar Heroes. Wraithgaurd bodies come in a number of sizes ranging from man-sized to Dreadnoughts. Even Eldar Titans are ina sense large Wraithguard themselves."
3rd Ed. - This is where the major shift occured & Eldar Dreads went from Vehicles to Living Machines.
They were given wounds, but were armed with 2 Dreadnought Close Combat weapons.
"The Wraithguard & Wraithlord are robotic bodies housing a dead Eldar... The Souls of the heroes are integrated with these Hugh War Machines"
4th Ed. - Universal Rules & Codex Dependence sees the Eldar Dread gaining the Monstrous Creature classification.
5th Ed. - ???? Unknown how they will be changed it the 5th edition codex. It could be nothing or a lot (especially if GW builds a plastic kit for them)
WOW, that was a massive side track. What was this topic about again?

HE, cannot fit in a ship. His Ego is too big!
Besides he would just round house them from a nearby planet.

Re: Just a though
You had to use a pic of Luke Skywalker where he looks constipated? I think this thread had something to do with a spaceship interior gaming board. And I'm only familiar with the 5th ed Main book and the 4th ed Eldar Codex, so I wasn't around for all that original dread stuff. Only dread I know are what they are right now.
