well the points depenon on who is the attacker and defender. Also i believe that the force organization chart is different than the warhammer 40k standard rules. But do not quote me on that if someone wants to correct me.

Ok ladies, heretics and what have you, I would like to announce that the sign-up sheets for the Megabattle are now up in the store. Make sure you guys sign up!!! The goal that I have set with Games Workshop is 40 people. This should be quite easy to reach considering that on a regular Thursday night we come very close to this, sometimes even exceeding it. My personal goal for this and the store is to exceed the 40 person goal. Pictures will be sent to Games Worshop also. I will post the points limit and who will be the attacker/defender in the upcoming days. As always. I thank you for your patronage, with out you guys we would not be able to put on events like this. I hope to see everyone at the Megabattle (those that survive the Planetary Bombardment that I have just authorized anyway). Good luck!

For those who wish to start thinking about their amies for the Planetstrike battle here is something to get you started:

So far we are looking at MAX of 2000 points per person.

Disorder will be DEFENDING

The force organization charts are as follows:

Attacker (Order)
HQ: 1 - 3
Troops: 0 - 6
Elites: 0 -6
Fast Attack: 0 - 6
Heavy Support: 0 - 3

Defender (Disorder)
HQ: 1 - 3
Troops: 2 - 8
Elites: 0 - 3
Fast Attacks: 0 - 3
Heavy Support: 0 - 6

Super Heavy Vehicles & Gargantuan Creatures WILL be allowed, BUT are not chosen from the armies point total.

Each side (Side NOT Person!) May take Super Heavies @ the cost of 4 Stratagem Points.
(5 Stratagem points for More than 4 Structure points or 10 Wounds)

Planetstrike Stratagems range in cost from 1 - 4 points each, i.e...
Unstoppable Waaagh! - 1 stratagem point
Void Shield - 2 stratagem points
Planetquake Bomb - 3 stratagem points
Meteor Strike - 4 stratagem points

Each PLAYER adds 1 stratagem point to their side.
Each objective on the table adds 1 stratagem point to BOTH sides.
So for every Super Heavy, your side will quickly reduce your available Stratagems

I appoligise because i will nto be there for me and some of my crew are gonna go to games day and will probably be doing planeet strike there.

Depending on circumstance I MAY be at games day, most likely though I will probably choose to hit up the Comix zone planetstrike simply because everything at Games Day will be available in time anyways and the only reason I wanted to go was to get the ingame warhammer online item codes which to be honest would only entertain me for all of........5 minutes. Besides play with my buds at our hang out oooooooor go to games day walk around in circles going ooooo and aaaaah and meet authors I have already met...........hmmmm the former sounds best to me. Just saying.

Alright so first main gun battery is built and painted and the bastion is all but completely primed. I will be airbrushing the landing pad on and hopefully doing it over the course of tuesday so long as MITTON brings his airbrush 8D The bastion I should begin and complete this week as well. The sooner i get all that done the sooner I can start and finish my battle force to finish of the base of my imp guard army (I just need to find instruction on how to assemble the armoured sentinnel cus my box came with none........crud......oh well i am sure I can figure it out. Either way ALL of the terrain for the planet strike on my check list should actually hopefully be handled and done by the end of this coming week so yay for us. And my guys should be set to go as well for the battle (Unless I go to Games Day to take pics for the club then I wont be there but alteast you guys will have ur terrain and I will have my battleforce done.)

Also Remember guys it ALL has to be BUILT AND PAINTED b4 the event or it WILL NOT be used. A suggestion for armies as well would be to start painting like mad so the pics for GW look great and BASE your army if you can I will be basing as much as possible after I am done painitng my last battleforce groups.

It seems that there are several birthdays around the 25th. Perhaps we could make it a party of sorts. Just a random idea.

Sounds like a good idea Chuck and yah Flagg i would appreciate that since although I'm sure I could figure it out I do want to put it together with the armoured chasis and not the roll bars so instructions on how the legs fit etc would be great are you going to be there tuesday? I plan to hall *ass* all week and try to complete the enitre battleforce in a week painted and all so I can spend the rest of the time till planetstrike basing my full army..(glue rock paint repeat........son of a....)
