Influence and promotion updates

I have played more games than you can count. Would you take this seriously please, we need to at least realistically consider the possibility.

The people that show up have been playing the game as it is written with no problems or complications what so ever. The game doesn't need to be changed one bit. If someone wants to use an army that doesn't exist we will cross that bridge when we get there. I would also like to point out that this is the largest topic on the forums and comprises the comments of only 3 people. There are no problems, lets let this topic finally die.

I think we should make an exception for the archers and leave them as archers instead of promoting to help easties maintain range ability. the force would be more competitive and Jim agreed last we spoke.

What do you think? Needs work but the working idea is that they upgrade to captains on a 9 and don't have promotions. Terror would be a good rule to put into their table as well.

And as I stated we've been playing as BC has been written and BC as it is written isn't 3rds rule compliant. Me, Ian, Christian, Karl, and Joe all signed off on Bill's Easterling army which he got off of here after you posted it. And I did show everyone my Galadhrim army (including reinforcement chart, equipment chart, and Heroic Special Abilities chart) and Ian, Christian, Karl, Joe, and Bill all agreed it was ok. Remember, you, me, and Jim aren't the say all end all of Lord of the Rings. It's majority rules.

then that settles it no thirds rule, THE BONES HAVE SPOKEN.

Nate had mentioned incorporating Battle Companies into his campaign so i have started a Mordor company to go with my Mordor Empire i plan on making. what follows is an influence and promotion table that would theme with my force

INFLUENCE
1- No Reinforcements
2- Orc w/bow
3- Orc w/shield
4- Orc w/spear
5- Choose
6- Roll on the bellow table
1-2- Orc Tracker
3-4- Morranon Orc w/shield
5- Mordor Uruk-Hai w/shield
6- Morgul Stalker

PROMOTION TABLE
Orc w/bow to Orc Tracker
Orc w/shield to Morranon w/shield
Orc w/spear to Morranon w/spear

I dont think black guard fits with my army so i'm gonna leave them out. Warg Riders would fit but i dont wanna transport them back and forth plus too big a warg force would make it a tough force.

also giving that orcs and morranon orcs and orc trackers are different breeds im thinking of doing away with the promotion table all together. would you guys be cool with that. instead to keep my army going maybe make 5-6 roll on the elite table. give me feedback.

Isn't that pretty much the original mordor list? I never heard nate say anything about BC in anything but maybe I missed it. I'm pretty much out of BC so it looks good to me.

so yah I like it and the orcs need to promote to something because no promotion is already a goblin thing in original forces. I think the list you have is just perfect. don't mess with it at all.
