Ok...I will step in at this point. I would appreciate NO NAMES being used. SECONDLY, we have a thread for calling people out in. In this case, there is no need for trash talking or name calling. If we cannot be civil in this, I will close it again and I will take issue with any party not acting responsibly.

The first thing I would like to address is the club being attacked. It's a collective as a whole that steers the club and one person cannot stand before a group and call them wrong.

The second thing I would like to address is when Shilek said if he had to play half the group for fun he would not because they are lousy. How dare you sir. Have you actually MET everyone? And I'm not talking just about the 40k or Fantasy oh no, I mean the War Machine, the Lord of the Rings, The HeroClix, The Blood Bowl, the Board Gamers, the Card Players. These are all members of the club whether or not they are active on these boards and you have the nerve to sit there and say they are not worth your time? Who are you to be the judge of all? I think you got called out and do not know how to react in a mature manner. You can disagree with the individual but I shall not stand idly by and watch you disrespect an organization I take seriously. To some this club is just another thing to do but to me this club is like a second family (closer in some respects) and if you find something wrong with it than that is your right but an unfortunate one and one I feel has been determined rashly.

If you leave Shilek then don't look down on us from your high horse for too long or you may fall off and be crash down to our level. It's just a shame you think that level is unworthy of you. Maybe I made a point maybe not but that's my opinion.

(and as several posts were written as I wrote this I sincerely hope Shilek that that was what was intended. If so then that is well but I shall keep my post unmodified as a reminder to all new members of the club that they do not have to be here if they do not want to, but shall be welcomed and befriended if they do. Wow, I should have been wearing a jump suit and handing Kool-Aid when I wrote that lol).

Lol! You have met me, although I may not have been able to shake your hand. You seemed like a nice person to me. I have problems with most of the people (who treat me lousy) but I wanted to address the state of this club, not start a war with most of the individuals in it. I have met I think every general here, by the way. I have come to more then tournaments but no one seems like they can piece together Shilek and the guy with the really sweet skin colour, black hair, wins lots of games and blows away everyone with his incredible ability to command (just joking, lol).

Now, I used to play Magic. I have this to say: I stopped for a reason. I have been addressing the Warhammer group (40K), not all these other games. You should have noticed that, Keebler. Remember this! I am part of this group just like you are, so do not treat me like an outsider (too late). All of this has been coming for a while, and I am the just the one person from the club to say it on the forum instead of talking behind peoples backs. High horse? I admit to being arrogant and I count it as a flaw and a blessing. You do not like it? Well, I do not like a lot of stuff in quite a few people that I have fought against. Shall I list them? Arrogance? Talk to ...{Edited by GrimsAxe} about that one, that would be more appropriate, not me. Get your facts right.

This is neat. No one has come to defend me (except for Nurgle) while several people are going on the offensive like I am not part of this group, which I am. I only say what is in several of your minds and what several of you have told me. I do not skulk in the shadows, I say things bluntly and directly.

Keebler, try understanding my point of view and what has happened that I have seen (too much of) before you seek to defend something that I am not even attacking. Please, it would be good.

Well if you ask anyone in this club you will see that I do not take such actions these posts often or lightly. I try to be friends or at least on good terms with everyone going to extreme, EXTREEEEEEEEEEME lengths to make peoples time in the club enjoyable. (who else will act like a giant flamer in public and manhandle grown men and vice versa for a laugh). If GrimsAxe or Nurgle or Slannesh are the leaders of the club I'm more the street performer in the bear costume that dances for you while you stand in line for a ride at an amusement park.

Like I said since we never met so all my facts came from this thread. Further more I said that if what I wrote was not representative to what you intended to say then to simply disregard it. But enough of that may I make a suggestion? I (and I'm thinking a lot of people who were not there also) do not know to whom or what your talking about. Why is the group failing? Who is causing it to fail. To whom would you look to for this "leadership" you seem to think we need. If you list examples then they can be amended. It's the vagueness or appearance there of that I find confusing.

If all you do is attend tournaments then you are NOT a club member. The club in no way shape or form has anything to do with tournaments. A club is a label for a group of people who came together with a common intrest or goal. It just so happens we can use the comix zone as our gathering place. The store and mike run tournaments NOT the club. The club does events like lucky 13s, campaigns, mega battles, making games day events, and going to games day none of which i've seen you in.

Yea, Keebler, I do not think you should go to the tournaments(40K). You will get very dissapointed, I think. As for your questions that you just asked me, well those are going to have to wait until after I get some sleep. Now, Papa Nurgle just said not to use names. So you asking me to start giving out names would be against that. I take no orders but I think Nurgle is trying to keep this civil (someone already failed that when they privatedly messaged me, very nasty) and using names might lead to it becoming very far from civil.

So I do not know if I should actually answer that question then. I will wait until tommorow (unless I cannot sleep tonight) and see what Nurgle has to say about it.

...............And in other news the public witch trial of Shilek Jalan continues..............

I never insulted ...{Edited by GrimsAxe}, he is a good guy but this club has to grabbed by the horns and forced into doing the right thing. Nurgle and all of those guys do not have the power to force all of you to do anything, Mike does because he works for the store that you all battle at. Good one, trying to say that I was attacking Nurgle. More lies.

{Edited by GrimsAxe} cannot dictate what we do as a club simply because he works at the store. True he can kick out unruly patrons and that ilk but how we treat each other is up to us. We listen to ...{Edited by GrimsAxe} out of respect, the same he shows us.

While I agree with you Commisar lets try and remain calm. I think a quicker solution to this problem will be direct resolution on specific problems brought up by ANYONE in the club about this situation and leave venting to PM's or the very least the off topic section.

LOL sorry, I'm not trying to be a moderator of the forum but I'm just trying to keep it cool here. If I have to hug everyone to calm them down then I'll do it, everyone in a line! cheers
