Midnight Blue
For my marines color scheme and to completely paint roughly 2000 points of marines I can garuntee that I will need more than my single pot of no longer produced midnight blue =_= Sadly as i said it is NO LONGER MADE......son of a.....anyways if anyone has any midnight blue paint pots almsot empty to all the way full I NEED THEM. I will trade models (I have plenty of unpainted but built orks I mean a lot as Mitton, some custom done pro, or I would gladly offer my painting services towards hero models etc in return for the paint.) I just restarted all my armies hence forth my bit count is rather low atm or I would offer to trade bits as well. I REALLY need roughly 5-6 pots of midnight blue more since I plan to do a stone coloring to my tanks/drop pods etc. The only non stone colored vehicles will be dreadnaughts which will be a mix of the midnight blue other required detail colors and stone painted details like the captain some of you saw on thursday.
I would GREATLY appreciate midnight blue paint as much of it as i can get thanks again in advance.

Check with Zombie Planet in Albany (Great guy and he will ship) or Boldo's armory in Rochester (also a great guy) they may have some older paint colors around. Additionally, you may be able to color match to one of the bazillion vallejo colors (available through Walt's Hobby) it's superb paint. Good luck.
I use mid. blue as an undercoat for my ultramarines but I only have one left.

RE: Midnight Blue
Could you take a sample of the Midnight Blue in to Home Depot or Lowes and have them mix an exact copy? I know they can get virtually any color mixed, the only thing I am not sure about would be if they can do the specific type of paint, the name is escaping me at the moment however, but I think they can do multiple paint types as well.

Re: Midnight Blue
Maybe, I will have to look into that but for nowit seems will have enough to do 2-2500 points so I' happy with that.

Re: Midnight Blue
i know that walt's hobby is a great store for paint. They dont sell GW paint pots but they might have similar colors. Another idea i gave is that you could bring in the color paint into home depot and they could copy it for you.

Hi from Walt's!
Hi Guys,
I'm Mike, I work over at Walt's Hobby and I sincerely appreciate the mentions that you guys have made of us here on the boards!!
I have printed out at the shop a conversion chart that includes every color that Games Workshop has made in their history and equivalent colors in our Vallejo Model Color line of paint.
All you have to do is ask, and I, or one of the other employees would be glad to get it out for ya and help you make you selections.
I keep the chart in the case where we are carrying GW stuff....

Re: Midnight Blue
Yah I will be sure to come by and check that out. A steady supply would work wonders with my urge to be free on the use of the paint I have already. Thanks a lot for the heads up.
