A featured I miss from my last groups forum.

I don't know if it's possible to implement with your forum host, but one feature of the club forum of the BC Adeptus (down in Binghamton) is a "ShoutBox!" board. Instead of having to start a permanent thread for quick comments, a poster can just add a short "tweet" to the ShoutBox! allowing people to comment that they are going to CZ and are looking for a pickup game or other such time-sensitive comments.

Thanks for the fast work on this. One problem I've noticed. The box isn't "persistent". If I log on, leave a message (ie "Heading down to CZ at 5, anyone want a pickup game at 1,250pts?") and log out - noone will see the message unless they happened to be logged in at the time I message. Is that something that can be implimented?

Ah ha. Figured it out - "Archives". So how long does the archive last? An hour, a day, a week? Forever?

The Chatbox archive will store the last 195 messages, that are not currently showing.

Very nice, thank you. That'll work for popping on, droppping a message and then heading over to CZ. Now we just gotta get others using it besides sental or I.
