"We are the true children of the Gods of Chaos. For ten thousand years we have fought against the forces of the False Emperor. In this we shall prevail." - At the end of the War of Re-Unification, Ardian De'Valtus retreated to the Eye of terror with remnents of the III Legion, The Emperors Children. The virus bombing of the Laeren system by Imperial forces awoke a fury within Aradian. The world that was the birthplace of the "perfected" Emperors Children was destroyed. Taking a small force of loyel brothers Aradian went Laeren. When He arrived he found that the temple on the main world was still intact. Slaanesh had protected the temple with a minor warp anamoly. This became the base of Aradians force. Over the millenia, he has amassed a large contigent of Marines dedicated to varrious aspects of Chaos. The Laren moon has also been converted to a massive space port. Imperial forces have spent the last 1000 years being regularly crushed by The Children, and as yet have been unable to root the force out of the Laren system.

My army is called in when the big guy needs a fortress taken out of something fortified for a up coming defense. We got sick of the Dirty Imperial Fists taken Credit for all of our hard work.. Death to the Imperial Fists!

Hive fleet tiamat was considered dead and just a remnant of worlds once determined barren and void. Recently there have ben rumors that Tiamat colored Genestealers appearing in the Ogri area of the galaxy outside of the eye of terror. The only thing is that there is no tendril sign.

We are but the remenents of armys past. Tatered and Defiant. We have stood before the gates of hell and we do not know fear. But their are those who do not trust use. That is why the great hero of Armageddon, Commissar Yarrick, is here. He is tasked with makeing this regimant unstoppable in the face of every enemy of the imperium. The only issue is that, we already are unstoppable, the enemy will fall to the echoing roar of are guns and the unyielding wall of our blades. We are but mortal men but we stand defiant against those who would oppose the imperium or those that we find worthy to serve.

As the Last survivors of Malikith, what was left of our forces were combindined into the 78th; due to luck and pure skill the 78th prevailed the last battle on Malikith and escaped into the Avenger(Ship) with a few other men from many other regements, these other survivors were combined into the legendary 78th since the 78th had most of there command staff as well as the honour and legend of the regiment. After fighting across random worlds and liberating many worlds from the grips of chaos, the last survivors seek ourselves a new planet to call home, we split up our forces and sent the 3rd and 5th companies off and 1st, 2nd, and 4th fight on another world in search of a new homeworld. Due to millenia of conflict against the forces of chaos all malikith residents have a burning hatred for the forces of chaos.

Having just finished a contract with a Jungle world that was suffering from constant raids by the eldar the Hunters now seek out employment. Known to the humans of the world they defended as the FIghting Macaws as their appearance altered in the generations spawned on the planet to resemble the local wildlife. The collective knowledge of the eldar gained has lead to the rangers to have faster than normal reflexes allowing them to keep pace with their foe.

We have the most powerful Psyker's in the galaxy and we shall stop at nothing to thwart the influence of Chaos and ensure the Eldar's survival.
